ASHLEE SIMPSON AND PETE WENTZ DO FAMILY DAY WITH THEIR SON

Now that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson have been virtually wiped off the celebrity map, they have all the time in the world for play date with their son.

Making the most of their freed up schedule, the former Fall Out Boy bassist and his former pop star/actress wife enjoyed a day at the park with their son Bronx Mowgli in Sherman Oaks, CA today (September 26).

Meanwhile, if you can believe it or not, Ashlee is still working on her new album. She recently told a reporter that “I’m writing [a new album] now.” The 25-year-old mother says her new sound will have a more mature “folk-feel.”

You know, because it worked so well for Mandy Moore.

ASHLEE SIMPSON TAKES BRONX TO VISIT AUNTIE JESSICA

Ashlee Simpson spent some quality one-on-one time with son Bronx Wentz as the pair make their way to a restaurant in New York City on Wednesday (September 8).

After gretting the paparazzi with a smile, the pair had dinner with big sister Jessica Simpson who is in town promoting her clothing line during New York Fashion Week.

Following her afternoon out, Ashlee tweeted: “Had a yummy dinner with my bestows. NY has been a blast with my buddies and my sweet family. Lots of LOVE. Goodnight moon. Goodnight room.”

Ashlee has been taking some time out from work to concentrate on raising Bronx.

She last appeared on Broadway, where she performed a six-week run in the hit musical Chicago, which finished last February.

Ashlee recently announced that she has made a return to the recording studio to work on her fourth album.

ASHLEE SIMPSON GETS LEI’D BEFORE WARDROBE CHANGE

Ashlee Simpson was spotted arriving at a friend’s Hollywood home on Sunday afternoon (August 29) for a private party with her husband Pete Wentz and their son Bronx Mowgli.

The happily married couple wore matching coloured shoes as they picked up a few lei necklaces before heading into a luau party with a sign that read: “Get Lei’d.”

What is curious is Ashlee’s apparent wardrobe change — including shoes — sometime during the party. Isn’t it the baby who should come equipped with extra clothes?

Ashlee Simpson and her Fall Out Boy husband Pete Wentz took heir son Bronx Mowgli on a family outing to Target in Sherman Oaks, CA on Saturday (August 21).

Looking like the perfect little family, the happy trio could be seen spending the afternoon taking advantage of the weekend discounts as they shopped for a few things for around the home.

Ashlee and Pete recently returned from a trip to New York City where Pete has been working on a new album with his new band Black Cards.

As for Ashlee? She’s put her career on the back burner since her role on Melrose Place was cut short after only 13 episodes and she completed a second stint as Roxy Hart in Chicago in the West End.

Instead Ashlee has chosen to be a very hands-on mother, spending every day with her young son. And bargain shopping whenever she can.
