CONAN O’BRIEN ANNOUNCES FIRST WEEK OF GUESTS

Conan O’Brien has announced his first guest — and it’s Seth Rogen! (We know, a little bit anticlimactic.)

Conan will begin his new show on November 8 with Seth and a musical performance from Jack White. The rest of Conan’s premiere week will feature a lineup of stars, rare performances and longtime O’Brien pals:

· Monday, Nov. 8 – First Guest Poll winner, Seth Rogen and musical guest Jack White

· Tuesday, Nov. 9 – Tom Hanks, Jack McBrayer and musical guest Soundgarden

· Wednesday, Nov. 10 – Jon Hamm, Charlyne Yi and musical guest Fistful of Mercy

· Thursday, Nov. 11 – Michael Cera, Julie Bowen and comedian Jon Dore

MAX WEINBERG DEPARTS FROM CONAN O’BRIEN SHOW

This just in: Conan O’Brien‘s longtime bandleader Max Weinberg will not be returning to lead the late night band when Conan moves to his new home at TBS on November 8.

Says Conan in a statement: “Max has been a huge part of my life for the past 17 years and he is an incredible band leader and musician. I hope he can find time to stop by the new show, sit in with the band, and pretend to find my monologue funny.”

The separation comes by mutual agreement

As for his replacement? Jersey-born musician Jimmy Vivino.

CONAN O’BRIEN REVEALS THE NAME OF HIS NEW SHOW

Conan O’Brien has revealed the name of his show:

Conan

“I’m just using ‘Conan’ and dropping the ‘O’Brien’ because I want to get away from the whole Irish thing,” he says in a release.

The new late-night series debuts November 8 at 11 p.m. (ET/PT) on TBS.
