JENNA AND BARBARA BUSH: BELLES OF THE MASQUERADE BALL

Dressed up for a good cause, Jenna and Barbara Bush attended the 2010 UNICEF Masquerade Ball at The Angel Orensanz Foundation in New York City on Thursday (October 21).

Dressed up as sparkly something or anothers, the former first daughters were joined by UNICEF President and CEO Caryl Stern as they enjoyed an evening of Halloween humanitarianism.

Since leaving the White House, Jenna has been a correspondent for the morning television show Today. Her role has been to contribute stories about once a month on issues such as education.

Jenna has declined to discuss her father’s policies and ideology on HIV, family planning, and the United Nations generally, specifically the withholding of funds from United Nations Population Fund’s HIV prevention programs in 2007. She has said that “I’m not my dad,” and “I can tell you that UNICEF is doing incredible work.”
