TOM CRUISE FILMS STUNTS AT BURJ KHALIFA IN DUBAI

Tom Cruise was spotted performing a hair-raising stunt dangle on Saturday (October 30) in Duabi.

The Hollywood star is filming at the Burj Khalifa, which stands 2717 feet tall, for his new movie Mission Impossible 4.

The stunt is thought to involve Tom jumping over another actor during a chase around the exterior of the huge building.

The scene was being filmed at the Observation Deck level which is 124 floors high.

A helicopter just ten feet away from the building was being used by the film crew to get close to the action.

Meanwhile, Tom may appear in the upcoming film adaptation of Broadway musical Rock Of Ages.

New Line has reportedly offered Tom a supporting role in the film as a bartender, a part which would involve some singing.

The comedy musical pays tribute to the classic rock songs of the ’80s, including the likes of Bon Jovi, Twisted Sister and Journey.

No official announcement regarding casting for the film has been announced, although it is rumored to be helmed by Hairspray director Adam Shankman.

Rock Of Ages is expected to be released sometime in 2011.
