HALLE BERRY AND JESSICA ALBA LEAD THE ‘CNN HEROES’ EVENT

Leading ladies Halle Berry and Jessica Alba lead a galaxy of stars at the 2010 CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute held at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Saturday (November 20).

Looking ravishing as always, the pair were on hand to lend a helping hand in honoring this year’s top 10 specially selected “heroes” that have made a difference in their local communities.

Bon Jovi, Sugarland and John Legend featuring Common and Melanie Fiona rocked the house, and celebs like Kid Rock, Aaron Eckhart, LL Cool J, Renee Zellweger, Gerard Butler, Demi Moore and AnnaLynne McCord were there to hand out some trophies.

Anderson Cooper hosted the fourth annual CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute, which airs on November 25 on CNN.

The Top 10 CNN Heroes all received $25,000, and the CNN Hero of the Year was awarded an additional $100,000.

Now in its fourth year, CNN Heroes is a multiplatform campaign that shines a spotlight on everyday people changing the world; this year, the campaign received more than 10,000 submissions from more than 100 countries.

This year’s Blue Ribbon Panel judges included Muhammad Ali, Ela Bhatt, Sir Richard Branson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jack Dorsey, Hill Harper, Patricia Heaton, Yo Yo Ma, Ricky Martin, Apolo Anton Ohno, Holly Robinson Peete, Alek Wek and Rainn Wilson.
