Meanwhile, Gaga and good pal Kanye West have been voted MTV News’ Woman and Man Of The Year.
The 24-year-old singer was chosen as MTV News’ Woman Of The Year not only because of her massive chart success but also her work for social causes. This is the second year in a row Gaga has picked up the award.
MTV claim the pop star was given the award as no other artist has dominated the musical and pop-culture landscapes the way she has over the past 24 months.
Kanye was voted MTV News’ Man Of The Year and MTV claim there was no other choice for the award.
MTV picked the rapper for the award as they say his comeback was a ‘compelling story’ and while coming into 2010 as a villain for his run-in with Taylor Swift he managed to leave it as a hero after the release of his album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
Cruising aboard a Mercedes Benz, Eva Longoria was spotted filming a car-jacking scene with her TV husband Ricardo Chavira during a night shoot in Los Angeles on Thursday (December 16) on the set of Desperate Housewives.
Eva, seated in the passenger seat, could be seen being aided by her male co-star as they were hijacked in the middle of the street. The two filmed several takes before wrapping up.
Meanwhile, despite rumours to the contrary, Eva and estranged husband Tony Parker still plan to divorce — but will do so gracefully.
A source close to Eva has been quoted as saying: “They are not getting back together… just trying to go through their divorce amicably.”
The Israeli supermodel looked cool and carefree after a recent trip to Egypt where she allegedly said the country was “a primitive place”, reportedly irking the Egyptian media.
Earlier this week, Egyptian newspaper al-Dustur published a harsh editorial against Bar, claiming that her remarks were part of an Israeli attack on tourism to Egypt. The article was titled: “An Israeli plan to harm Egyptian tourism through a supermodel.”
“It’s part of Israel’s constant efforts to attack tourism in Sinai in a bid to make the tourists move from the Egyptian beaches to the Israeli beaches,” the article claimed. “The Israeli press has taken advantage of the shark attacks on European tourists off the Sharm coast in order to convey in different languages the fear of the tourists visiting Egypt.”
In the meantime Bar’s longtime beau Leonardo DiCaprio is said to be planning to convert to Judaism so that he can marry the leggy beauty.
“Leo’s sudden intense interest in Israel, its culture and religion is the clearest sign yet that he intends to marry Bar,” a source tells Britain’s Mail on Sunday newspaper. “He has been staying with her in a hotel in Tel Aviv for a few days at a time recently so that he can avoid the photographers outside her apartment in a nearby suburb. Now he is looking into converting for her.”
The 29-year-old pop diva has got into the Christmas spirit by putting up thousands of lights outside her house.
Her sprawling home sits near a $10,000 mansion rented by Katehrine Jackson and MJ’s three kids.
Sources say Katherine is paying $26,000 a month for the 12,670 square-foot property in Calabasas, CA while her main home is refurbished.
The house is just one block from Britney who has covered the outside of her home with fairy lights, Santas, little drummer boys, baubles and stars.
The singer also has an illuminated Father Christmas in her garden alongside several trees covered with bulbs.
Britney has even hung angels and a colourful decorative helicopter with Santa at the wheel from the roof.
The Jackson’s new home is valued at $9,995,000 has seven bedrooms, a games room, movie theater, guest house and wine cellar.
Larry King was joined by wife Shawn Southwick, guests Bill Maher, Ryan Seacrest and Dr. Phil as well as his two children Cannon and Chance in Los Angeles on Thursday (December 16) for his final show, where after 25 years of Larry King Live the talkshow host has finally given up his suspenders.
On the final broadcast, the 77-year-old was serenaded by Tony Bennett singing The Best is Yet to Come via remote from Louisiana.
“You’re not going to see me go away, but you’re not going to see me on this set anymore,” Larry said. “I don’t know what to say except to you, my audience, thank you, and instead of goodbye, how about so long?”
While there were a parade of guests who stopped by, it was Larry’s young son Chance who stole the spotlight after he injected some levity with a dead-on impersonation of his father, including the Brooklyn accent.
It’s been a muted exit for Larry, with CNN touting America’s Got Talent judge Peirs Morgan‘s upcoming show in ads more than Larry’s. Once the dominant voice in cable television news, Larry has faded in a sea of sharp talkers.
The happy couple went to 101 Coffee Shop with a few friends and then stopped by the market for some Coffee Bean.
Meanwhile, Brian recently made headlines after he revealed that he is “proud” to be Megan’s husband.
While making an appearance on The Jimmy Kimmel Show, he was asked: “Do you wake every morning and say, ‘Hey buddy, I married Megan Fox?'” Brian replied: “Yes I do. I am very proud of myself. I’m a lucky man.”
Jimmy then joked: “I don’t know if people tell you, but she’s very attractive.”
The 37-year-old denied rumours that their low-key wedding in Hawaii was spontaneous, adding that they had planned the ceremony which Brian’s 8-year-old son Kassius was a part of.
He explained: “We planned the whole thing. We had a small wedding with my son. We included him in the ceremony, so we had rings and then a bracelet for him.”
