With a new movie set for release, Halle Berry‘s got some promoting to do.

And that’s exactly what the Oscar-winning actress did today (December 6) as she dropped by the set of Good Morning America in New York City to chat about her upcoming pyschological thriller Frankie and Alice.

On the show, Halle opened up about doing Broadway next.

“It scares me to death,” she said. “Just like this did. And when it scares me, I’m like a moth to a flame. I go right in it. It must mean that’s what I’m supposed to do next. If it scares me to death.”

She adds: “It’s an original play called Moutaintops. And it’s with Samuel L. Jackson and I. It’s a two person play. And he plays Martin Luther King. And it’s about the day Martin Luther King got shot. I’m the maid who comes into the room that has an interesting exchange with him right before he gets killed.”

As for how mothehood is going? “Fantastic,” Halle says with a smile. “I’m just so glad I didn’t miss it. You know, I waited until I was forty and I’m glad I did because the last three years I have been there every step of the way. I haven’t missed a thing. I’m lucky enough that I can take off work and be there with her in the early years. That was really important. And it’s changed my life.”
