AVRIL LAVIGNE SET TO DROP ‘GOODBYE LULLABY’ IN MARCH

Avril Lavigne and boyfriend Brody Jenner were spotted shopping at XVI Karats in Los Angeles on Wednesday (December 8).

Were the lovebirds shopping for Christmas gifts or taking their relationship to a new level? Only time will tell….

Meanwhile, Avril is to release her first album in four years — Goodbye Lullaby — in March.

Her first single, What the Hell, will be unveiled New Year’s Eve, when she appears in a TV special with Canadian rapper Drake and R&B stars Jennifer Hudson and Ne-Yo.

They’ll all take part in Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve broadcast from New York and Los Angeles.

Avril says the album has been ready for a year while she awaits her label, RCA Records, to release it.

“This has been a really difficult record for me to create and to release,” she wrote in a post on her website, hinting at differences of opinion with the label. “For the first time I experienced a bunch of bureaucratic BS…. People do their best work when they are doing what they want, love and is natural for them, not when you are forcing them to be something that they are not.”
