GQ MEN OF THE YEAR PARTY BRINGS OUT THE STARS

James Franco lead a galaxy of stars at the 15th annual ‘GQ Men of the Year’ party held at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles on Wednesday night (November 17).

Joined by the likes of Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Olivia Munn, Rosario Dawson, Kellan Lutz, James Marsden, David Arquette, Jenna Dewan, Channing Tatum and Anna Kendrick, the 32-year-old actor was on hand to fete extraordinary personalities who took the year by storm — including himself!

While James was honored as the Leading Man of the Year, rapper Drake was acknowledged as Breakout of the Year, Jeff Bridges as Icon of the Year and Stephen Colbert as Patriot of the Year. Big screen beauty Scarlett Johansson, though a no-show, injected some estrogen in the festivities after picking up Babe of the Year honors.

Hollywood stepped out in full force (and then some!) Monday night (October 18) for Elle magazine’s 17th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute at The Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills.

Dressed in a sexy orange frock, Gwyneth Paltrow lead the galaxy of stars as they honored Hollywood’s best and brightest talent during a celebratory dinner honoring women’s achievements in film.

The tribute featured a diverse group of women who have had a profound impact on the film industry.

This year’s honorees included an amazing five Academy Award Winners – best actresses Gwyneth (Shakespeare in Love), Hilary Swank (Boys Don’t Cry, Million Dollar Baby), Diane Keaton (Annie Hall) and Jodie Foster (The Accused) along with esteemed director/screenwriter Sofia Coppola (Lost in Translation, Best Original Screenplay).

Several of today’s most acclaimed actresses were also honored: Diane Kruger, Kate Hudson and Kerry Washington. Emerging actress Jessica Chastain (Tree of Life, Stolen) received the Calvin Klein Collection Emerging Star Spotlight Award.

“This year’s Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration gathers one of the most extraordinary groups of women we have ever had the pleasure of honoring,” Elle editor-in-chief Roberta Myers said in a statement. “We’re very excited to celebrate this diverse group of women who represent the best of Hollywood, on and off the screen.”

Other celebrity attendees included Alyson Hannigan, Anna Kendrick, Annette Bening, Elle Fanning, Goldie Hawn, Harrison Ford, Jake Gyllenhaal, Jenna Dewan Michelle Trachtenberg, Molly Sims, Rachel Zoe and Stephen Dorff.

LEA MICHELE JOINS A BEVY OF CELEBS AT BLACKBERRY BASH

Headed by Glee star Lea Michele and fellow actress Christina Ricci, the stars stepped out in full force on Wednesday night (August 11) for the Blackberry Torch launch party in Los Angeles.

Proving that even some of Hollywood’s finest love complimentary swag, the freebie-loving duo were joined by a slew of celebs, including Venus Williams, Shenae Grimes, Nikki Reed, Michelle Trachtenberg, Kristin Cavallari, Jessica Lowndes, Drake and Anna Kendrick, as they celebrated Blackberry’s answer to the iPhone.

Meanwhile, in Glee news, a fashion line inspired by the hit series will be available exclusively at Macy’s starting Sunday, features t-shirts, fashion tops and hoodies.

There’s even a copy of a Cheerio uniform top for the ultimate Sue Sylvester idolizer. Weekend shoppers in major markets should keep an eye out for window displays that feature popular scenes and actual costuming from the Emmy-nominated Fox musical dramedy.
