Proving that a couple who surfs together stays together, Avril Lavigne and beau Brody Jenner were spotted checking out new boards at Channel Islands Surfboards in West Hollywood on Friday (August 19).
The hot and heavy pair could be seen engaging in various acts of PDA as they selected some new gear ahead of what will likely be a sand and surf-filled weekend.
Meanwhile, following the release of her fourth album Goodbye Lullaby earlier this year, Avril is set to release Wish You Were Here on September26 as the third single from the album.
Wish You Were Here follows the smash hit singles What the Hell and Smile, the first of which has gone platinum in the US. Avril worked with long-time collaborators Deryck Whibley, Evan Taubenfeld and Butch Walker, as well as songwriter/producer Max Martin for the new album.
Avril recently made headlines after she was nearly attacked in Brazil while on tour earlier this month.
About to launch into Coldplay‘s Fix You, the Canadian songstress had her back to the audience as a female fan climbed on stage and attempted to grab or perhaps embrace Avril.

As seen in the video below, Avri screamed as the overzealous Avrilite was herself caught and dragged offstage by a security guard, who also happens to be her brother Matt.
