Beef? What beef?

Russell Simmons and Courtney Love looked like a couple of old pals as they attended the after party for the screening of Due Date at Lavo in New York City on Monday night (November 1).

As you may recall, Russell apologized Courtney last week after insulting the rocker by calling her a “crackhead” for posting nude pictures of herself on Twitter.

At the time, Courtney, who has candidly spoken about her battle with drug addiction, was so embarrassed by the scandal she shut down her Twitter account.

Taking accountability for his mistake, Russell tweeted: “Gotta lay off green juice (fast), allowed the media to string my words together and insult friend Courtney Love horrible mess.”

Courtney Love wore an all too short dress as she managed to reveal her undies while shopping in West Hollywood on Wednesday (October 27).

The 46-year-old rock singer stopped first at the Pascal Mouawad showroom to peruse jewelry. Miss Love picked up several items including an 18KT rose ring, 18KT diamond earrings, 18KT diamond hoop earrings, 18KT diamond lariat necklace as well as an 18KT diamond bangle!

Afterwards, the lead singer, seen flicking off photographers, headed to Decades to purchase accompanying clothing items to wear to the AMFAR event on the red carpet and during her performance.

Following many hours in hair and makeup, the Hole frontwoman looked somewhat presentable during the Inspiration Gala celebrating men’s style with Piaget and DSquared 2 at Chateau Marmont.

Meanwhile, Russell Simmons is sorry for calling Courtney a “crackhead” after she posted nude pictures of herself on Twitter. Russell said he called Courtney to apologize Friday.

Earlier this month, Love uploaded raunchy photos of herself on Twitter. She said she will quit the social networking site, saying the pictures were meant for a boyfriend only.

After seeing the photos, the Def Jam co-founder poked fun at his friend, telling the New York Post that while he thinks she is a “sweet girl,” she was also a “crackhead.”

But on Friday, Simmons told the New York Post that he regrets the joke, saying, “My joke about Courtney Love was more about me than Courtney. She is a talented, sweet girl who, like me and everyone else, is in constant reform. I’ve been calling her but haven’t been able to reach her yet. I hope she still considers me a friend.”

Miss Love apparently doesn’t hold any grudge against Russell. She said that the joke didn’t bother her, adding, “He’s really freaking… he is just a little mouthy is all.”

As for the Twitter photos? “There’s lots of pictures, and I’m really ashamed of it now, but I know he didn’t mean to hurt me.”

Almost unrecognizable with a new hairdo and plastic surgery, the rarely red carpet ready Courtney Love was spotted arriving late to the Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps premiere at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City on Monday (September 20).

With a league of celebrities far from her norm in attendance, one would wonder what the punk icon’s motives were that evening?

Meanwhile, Courtney’s rumoured new beau, Dutch supermodel Sander Kok, has moved swifty to dismiss reports the pair is dating.

The Hole frontwoman sparked speculation she was dating the model after they were seen looking close at the reopening of Manhattan’s Top of the Standard nightspot earlier this month.

But Kok insists they are just friends, telling the New York Post he has a steady girlfriend in Holland.

Courtney Love is a shadow of her former self — and that’s a good thing!

Looking sober and stylish, the formerly troubled rocker attended Marc Jacobs SS11 show at NYState Armony in New York City on Monday (September 13).

Courtney took a break from her trademark grungy gear as she donned a leather eyelet dress while watching models on the runway dressed in a disco-inspired collection.

Meanwhile, during a recent concert, Courtney reportedly told her fans to f*ck off and covered Lady Gaga.

The Hole frontwoman kept her fans waiting for over an hour at a recent New York show, but all was forgiven when she rocked out a croaky version of Gaga’s mega-hit Bad Romance. The singer politely thanked the crowd for “tolerating” the impromptu round of karaoke.

Miss Love continued to up the crazy by threatening to walk off if her fans didn’t shut up, “Shut the f*ck up, or I’m walking the f*ck off. I mean it.”

Courtney displayed rare wit after a fan screamed, “We love you Courtney!” Her response: “You don’t even know me.”
