The marital drama Last Night opened the Rome film festival this evening (October 28).

It deals with questions of temptation, betrayal and defining infidelity, and its stars Keira Knightley and Eva Mendes say there are no easy answers.

The movie is about a married couple struggling to confront temptation: For Keira’s character it’s an old, never-quite-forgotten French love; for her husband, played by Avatar star Sam Worthington, it’s a work colleague played by Eva.

Their moral struggle plays out over the course of one night they spend apart.

At a press conference, Keira says each situation is different and the movie doesn’t take a view on whether one is worse, physical infidelity or an unconsummated affair.

“I think everyone can recognize the scenarios that happen within this piece, I think that most people have at least been one person, if not all four, at some point in their life,” Knightley told reporters after a press screening. “In most films there are goodies and baddies, what I liked about this script is that it did not take a standpoint, that there is no conclusion.”

Jessica Biel was all smiles after leaving an office building in Beverly Hills today (October 25).

Moments earlier, big screen beauty Eva Mendes could be seen taking off from the very same location.

Could these two be working on a new project together?

After the “meeting” session, Eva headed over to West Hollywood to do some shopping where she picked up a few items from the Lost And Found Galley.

Coughing everywhere she went, Eva looks as if she might be fighting the cold that has making its way around town.

Meanwhile, Jessica lended some star power at a heavenly finish yesterday at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas.

The 28-year-old starlet watched the three-way playoff drama play out from a VIP skybox overlooking the 18th hole.

Jessica was with JT and his dad in the skybox throughout the day.

While tournament-goers were told to turn in their PDAs upon entering the grounds, Jessica could be seen texting throughout the event. For his part, Justin spent much of the time affectionately rubbing his lady love’s shoulders.

Eva Mendes created her own buzz by purchasing multiple Red Bull energy drinks at a gas station in Los Angeles today (October 6).

Should we be worried about what the super hot actress and Revlon model is planning to mix with all those Red Bulls?

Meanwhile, Eva credits Angelina Jolie with inspiring her celebrity counterparts to help good causes – because the philanthropic actress/UN Goodwill Ambassador has made charity work “cool.”

This year alone Angie she visited refugees in South America, displaced children in Haiti and flood victims in Pakistan.

Eva tells Fox News, “I have to say that Angelina Jolie did something really interesting when she became ‘Angelina Jolie.’ She took all that light and attention she was getting and she shined that light on important causes. I think that’s pretty incredible and she was the one that made it cool to do all that.”
