Joined by boyfriend Norman Kali, the 32-year-old actress appeared blissfully happy as she took her three-month-old son out for a walk in Wellington, New Zealand on Sunday (August 21).
What’s Evangeline doing in Kiwiland? After going on a self-imposed hiatus in 2009, the Canadian-born starlet is set to play the Woodland Elf, Tauriel, in the highly-anticipated movie The Hobbit.
“Her name means ‘daughter of Mirkwood’ and, beyond that, we must leave you guessing! What is not a secret is how talented and compelling an actress Evangeline is,” director Peter Jackson said in June. “We are thrilled and excited she will be the one to bring our first true Sylvan Elf to life.”
The first of the two films, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, hits theaters December 14, 2012. The second installment, The Hobbit: There and Back Again, will be filmed back-to-back with the first; it will arrive in theaters December 13, 2013.
Lilly is also planning to write children’s books called The Squickerwonkers.
