While her boxer boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko was busy in training mode, the former Heroes actress looked long and lean in head to toe black as she spent the evening partaking in a few cocktails.
Hayden is currently in London for the premiere of her animated children’s film Alpha and Omega.
Meanwhile, Hayden has just signed on to portray convicted murderer Amanda Knox in a made for television film called The Amanda Knox Story.
As you may recall, Knox was sentenced to 26 years in jail for the 2007 killing of British student Meredith Kercher in Italy.
Although the film hasn’t started filming yet, the family of Miss Kercher have released a statement slamming the production.
The family’s lawyer Francesco Maresca says: “It is inopportune as the trial is still on going with two further appeals.”
Miss Kercher’s mother Arline said it was insulting for the film to be named after her daughter’s killer.
She said: “I don’t see how they can make a film called The Amanda Knox Story when the story is really all about my daughter. It’s all very odd.”
For her part, Hayden says she was “floored” and “flattered” to be asked to play Knox in the upcoming movie.
She says the script is “very well done” and she doesn’t think anyone will have a problem with it.
Miss Panettiere would like to meet Miss Knox to get a feel for the role, but says she doesn’t think it will be possible.
