Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal showed off their matching perfect smiles as they attended the Australian premiere of Love & Other Drugs at George St Cinemas in Sydney today (December 6).

Earlier in the day, the on-screen lovers attended a press conference where Jake and Anne said sex scenes in their new movie were easier to shoot because they are mutually attracted to each other.

“I think it is easier to work with somebody that you find attractive,” said lady’s man Jake, who is famously dating country bumpkin Taylor Swift. “It’s always easier to work with things that are naturally occurring.”

Anne also admitted it was not hard to get naked with the 29-year-old lothario, who she previously starred with in Brokeback Mountain.

“I actually think that 65 to 75 percent of all my nude scenes have been with you,” she said. “And you are very attractive so I guess I can safely say yes.”

That said, Anne is still was not completely comfortable undressing on camera.

“I’ve done the nudity thing and I can tell you the most scariest part about doing nudity is two things,” the 28-year-old said. “One is having to watch it with an audience, because it becomes a little surreal, and I must say not the most comfortable thing in the world. The second part about doing nudity is talking about it — that’s a little scary, and all the attention it gets.”

“Well, my character in this movie has a lot of sex, so I had to practice a lot,” Gyllenhaal joked. “I am fully devoted to research … there are sacrifices that I have to make and that happened to be one of them.”

Jake Gyllenhaal and Michelle Williams had a Brokeback Mountain reunion in Los Angeles last night (December 2).

Joined by Michelle’s co-star Ryan Gosling, the duo joined forces at a screening of her newest flick Blue Valentine at the Creative Artists Agency building.

Meanwhile, Kate Winslet shocked guests at a private dinner in honor of Michelle earlier this week by revealing she’s been having an imaginary “love affair” with the actress for years.

Before introducing the film, Kate revealed she harbours a secret – she was so in awe of Michelle’s acting talents that she created a make-believe friendship between the pair in her head.

She told the crowd, “From a distance, I feel as though I’ve actually been having a secret love affair with Michelle. She and I are quite intimate in my fantasy friendship built on admiration and respect. I’m talking about her acting, of course.”

Jake Gyllenhaal was all smiles as he returned to the parking garage of a medical building in Beverly Hills today (November 3).

Now that Jake is in a new romance with Taylor Swift, the media came up with a combined name of Gyllenswift and the two seem to be happily dating.

Meanwhile, Jake prefers making comedies to any other genre.

The 29-year-old actor admits he is more comfortable trying to make people laugh but says one of his most enjoyable filmmaking experiences was on thriller Zodiac with Robert Downey Jr.

He said: “Where am I most at ease? I think comedy.

“That’s why I loved working with Robert Downey Jr. He and I had this similar kind of working. His energy is a bit more frenetic than but in terms of work, we meshed.”

Jake Gyllenhaal is making the rounds promoting his new romantic comedy Love and Other Drugs, which also stars Anne Hathaway.

The 30-year-old actor lets British Esquire into his mind for a while to chat about on-screen sex, his relationship with his sister Maggie Gyllenhaal and reporting to work naked.

A few highlights from the December issue:

On sex scenes with Anne: “Annie and I had already had sex on film (in 2005’s Brokeback Mountain). There’s something about the way Annie and I both work which is inherently very musical. It’s all about rhythm. There’s a rhythm to writing, there’s a rhythm to sports, there’s a rhythm to sex.”

On his friendship with Anne: “I feel like she’s a comrade. The thing about Anne is that she develops her characters in absolute detail. To the point where she went down to the Lower East Side to buy fluorescent bras for her character. I knew Annie could f*cking kill it.”

On stripping down on-set: “I was naked a lot in the movie. I was naked in more of it than was even in the final cut. A director’s cut? I don’t even know how that would be rated.”

How his love for Maggie influences his work: “I admire her and continue to admire her. That might play into the reason I don’t have much of a problem letting the women I’ve worked with shine. I love women.”

“Look guys, I’m not 30 yet!” he tells People mag. “Can you cut it with the 30 comments?”

All jokes aside, he adds: “I feel more like myself. I feel like now, it’s just the beginning. I guess you get to a point at 30 or somewhere and you say, ‘What I am, is what I am and that’s what I’m going to be and that’s all good. I don’t need to be anything else.’ And that’s kind of how I feel.”
