BEN AFFLECK AND JENNIFER GARNER EXPECTING THIRD CHILD

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner‘s family is growing — representatives for the actors say the couple are expecting their third child.

A one-sentence statement released Monday says the actors are “thrilled” to have another baby on the way.

The couple has two daughters, 5-year-old Violet and 2-year-old Seraphina Elizabeth Rose Affleck.

No other details were released.

Jennifer Garner was among the celebrity attendees at Disney’s D23 Expo in Anaheim, CA on Saturday (August 20).

Looking beautiful in blue, the 39-year-old actress on was on hand to promote her upcoming fantasy flick The Odd Life of Timothy Green.

The movie, due in theaters in August 2012, stars Jennifer and Joel Edgerton as a couple who learn they can’t have children of their own. One night after getting the sad news, the pair crack open some red wine and start listing the qualities they’d hope for in a child, and their dream of being parents finds a strange way of coming true.

Jennifer said: “I just fell for the story. I loved the magical element to it.” She also told the crowd that, as a mom, she liked the message of valuing what’s different about every kid.

Ben Affleck joined his wife Jennifer Garner and daughters Violet and Seraphina to the Farmer’s Market in Los Angeles on Sunday (December 12).

While young Violet stayed close to her daddy, mommy could be seen totting little Sera around.

Meanwhile, Ben says he lets his wife do all the cooking.

The hunky actor says he isn’t particular skilled in the kitchen department.

“Actually my wife cooks, I will be totally honest, she’s a great cook,” he says. “I don’t even compare, I don’t want to insult her by trying… It’s out of consideration for her that I don’t try. She’s an incredible cook.”

Jennifer Garner and her girls Violet and Seraphina were having a great time shopping around Santa Monica, CA today (December 10).

Dressed in matching star printed tops, the Affleck girls went to Big Lots and then headed over to Michaels Arts And Crafts for an afternoon of retail therapy with their mom.

Meanwhile, Jennifer will soon be taking a break from full-time mommy duty to begin filming The Odd Life of Timothy Green alongisde Joel Edgerton.

Directed and written by Peter Hedges, the upcoming fantasy flick tells the tale of a childless couple who bury a box in their backyard, containing all of their wishes for an infant. Soon, a child is born, though Timothy Green is not all that he appears.

Famous mom Jennifer Garner hit the Farmer’s Market and had a fabulously fun day with her daughters Violet and Seraphina in Pacific Palisades, CA today (December 5).

The girls soaked up a raft of special kids activities including an Adopt An Animal booth, train, car rides, hand painting and more!

Meanwhile, Jennifer and hubby Ben Affleck were recently handed a speeding ticket while driving in Los Angeles.

The 38-year-old actor was pulled over by the police on December 1 when he was driving too fast.

A source says “Ben and Jen were being followed by a pack of 12 paparazzi. He was being really aggressively chased.”

Ben was then reportedly fined before being allowed to continue with his journey.

Jennifer Garner and her husband Ben Affleck were as happy as can be as they left a neighbourhood in Los Angeles today (November 23) after viewing what looked to be an open house.

The celebrity couple walked away from the home with a fly of information in hand, but what could the couple be interested in this little place for?

Ben and Jen haven’t been in their newly remodeled Brentwood, CA home very long and put a ton of work into it.

Meanwhile, Ben and his BFF Matt Damon are out to raise awareness this holiday season that a staggering 1 in 6 Americans or over 50 million — including 17 million children — are hungry.

Based on findings from a just-released U.S. Department of Agriculture report, the friends taped two separate PSAs for Feeding America and the Ad Council, which were done pro bono by agency Cutwater and will air in advertising time that has been donated by the media.

JENNIFER GARNER STOMPS IN WASHINGTON, DC

Taking a break from her acting duties, Jennifer Garner addressed the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions committee at the Senate Dirksen Building in Washington, DC today (November 18).

The 38-year-old actress has been the Artist Ambassador for the charity Save the Children for years and has stomped in D.C. a number of times fighting for children’s rights.

Next up? Jennifer will be making a special appearance near her hometown of Charleston, WV tomorrow on behalf of Save The Children.

She will be speaking at Ashton Elementary School in Ashton on Friday to announce six new Save the Children sites in West Virginia.

West Virginia is the 15th state to have a U.S. Save the Children program which will focus on providing impoverished children with quality early education and literacy education, as well as physical activities and proper nutrition.

Jennifer says that she hopes the program will help children reach their potential. “There is such a need here, and there is so much unmet potential right here in West Virginia,” she says. “The cycle of poverty in this state is going on for generations and generations and generations, and we hope we can provide a new energy to help the kids reach their true potential and avoid that.”
