JOE JONAS DITCHES PURITY RING, ACQUIRES HOT NEW GIRLFRIEND

Posted in Ashley Greene, Joe Jonas on September 29, 2010 by fadedblog

After trying to play coy with the press, Ashley Greene and her sweetheart Joe Jonas let their love shine this afternoon (September 29) as the hot young couple stopped to get their caffeine fix at a Coffee Bean and Tea in Los Feliz CA.

Not only are they holding hands and getting lost in each other’s eyes, but their romancing seems to have taken a turn for the serious — complete with intros to their respective family members.

Ashley reportedly took Joe back to her Florida hometown for an official meet-the-vampires parents moment earlier this month, and the pair hit the streets yesterday to shop for a birthday present for 10-year-old Frankie Jonas.

More importantly, where’s Joe’s infamous purity ring? Hmm….

DEMI LOVATO CELEBRATES HER 18TH BIRTHDAY

Demi Lovato kickstarted her 18th birthday celebrations with ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas Buddakan Thursday (August 19) in New York City.

Joined by Demi’s younger sister Madison DeLaGarza and Joe’s younger brother Nick Jonas, the former flames danced the night away before the birthday girl devoured her cake.

From the bash, Demi tweeted: “It’s my party!!!!!!!!!! Yayyyyy!!!!! Wish you all could be here!!!!!!”

Meanwhile, Demi is finally addressing rumours that she’s set to collaborate musically with BFF Selena Gomez.

“No! It’s not true,” she says. “I think she’s already finished with her album.”

That’s not to say it’s out of the question — especially given that Demi’s hard at work on her own album. “I don’t know,” she says about a possible collaboration.

As for what we can expect? A new R&B-inspired sound.

“It’s really nice to embrace it,” she says. “I grew up singing R&B and then I grew up listening to rock, so it was kind of weird. But I’m kind of learning how to incorporate the two and I’m having a good time with it. … I can put my vocal stylings on songs that are R&B and it showcases my vocals more than just singing really loud on a rock song.”
