JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE SHOOTS IT OUT ON THE SET OF ‘NOW’

Posted in Justin Timberlake on December 16, 2010 by fadedblog

Justin Timberlake filmed an epic gun battle on the set of his newest film NOW in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon (December 15).

As cameras rolled, the former boy band frontman looked to have officially reformed himself into a versatile actor as he hit his mark over and over again like an old pro.

Meanwhile, Justin says Boo Boo the bear is “the good angel on Yogi Bear’s shoulder,” and the voice of reason for the cartoon favourite, about to hit the big screen.

JT provides the voice of Yogi Bear’s little friend in the 3D movie, released this week and based on cartoon characters enjoyed by generations of children on television.

“Back when I was in school, I’d procrastinate doing my homework by watching cartoons, and ‘Yogi Bear’ was one of the staples of after-school television and Saturday mornings,” he says. “Boo Boo is definitely Yogi’s conscience. He’s the good angel on Yogi’s shoulder, always there to remind him of what’s important. But even as he’s the voice of reason, he does it all while being a cute little bear with a nasal-y voice.”

JT’s movie career has included a voice role in the Shrek animated blockbusters as well as The Open Road and Alpha Dog — and more recently he played Napster founder Sean Parker in Facebook movie The Social Network.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE BRINGS ON-SCREEN SEX BACK

Posted in Amanda Seyfried, Justin Timberlake on November 16, 2010 by fadedblog

Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried were busy filming a scene together for their upcoming science fiction movie Now in Los Angeles on Monday (November 15).

In the scene, Justin could be seen wearing a long coat and carrying a large suitcase as he walked arm-in-arm with a scantily-clad Miss Seyfried.

Meanwhile, Mila Kunis is singing Justin’s praise — but it has nothing to do with his singing or acting talents. After spending two months filming sex scenes with the 29-year-old, she says he was “kind of great.”

The pair play two friends who decide to get romantic in her latest film Friends With Benefits.

Speaking to E! News, she insisted that there was no romantic attraction between the two, although she did enjoy the laughs.

“I can’t complain,” she said. “It’s not like I had the hardest two months. It’s not like I was, ‘Uch, I have to go to work and have simulated sex for two weeks. Darn it.’ It was kinda great.”

She added, “Wait till you see the gag reel. It was all laughter. He’s very funny. I think he knew I was going to be a little uncomfortable because he would be seeing all my bits and pieces so his way of making me comfortable was just to make me laugh. It was just very goofy.”

Sing? Act? And perform simulated on-screen sex? Is there anything Justin can’t do?

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE IS IN THE ‘NOW’

Posted in Justin Timberlake on November 2, 2010 by fadedblog

Justin Timberlake was busy filming a scene in an apartment complex in Los Angeles on Monday (November 1) for his upcoming film I’m.Mortal (which has apparently been renamed, Now).

The pop star-turned-actor was joined by co-stars Johnny Galecki as he spent the afternoon shooting an outdoor scene as director/writer Andrew Niccol watched on.

Co-starring Olivia Wilde and Amanda Seyfried, the story revolves around the idea that the rich can live forever, while the rest have to negotiate for their immortality.

Meanwhile, it appears two new pretty faces have been added to the Now cast member credit reel: Alex Pettyfer and White Collar stud Matt Bomer.

It’s not clear what roles the two will play, but given that it’s set a world of youth and both are fresh-faced handsome sons of guns, they should fit in just fine.

Joined by co-stars Andrew Garfield and Jesse Eisenberg, pop star-turned-actor Justin Timberlake made a guest appearance on El Hormiguero TV show in Madrid, Spain today (October 6).

On hand to chat with host Pablo Motos about their new flick The Social Network, the big screen trio could be seen participating in array of different children’s science experiments.

Meanwhile, Justin says that people need to be prepared for “pain” if they open themselves up to love.

“I fell flat on my face several times,” says the 29-year-old. “But that’s normal. And if you love, you need to be ready for painful experiences.”

Justin, who’s dating lovely leading lady Jessica Biel, also says that looks do not hold much importance to him.

“Looks are subordinate to me,” he says. “I fall for a woman who has the right attitude to life. I need to be comfortable with her and also be able to trust her.”

As for himself? Justin says he’s a quiet person who likes to stay out of the limelight.

“I am actually a really shy guy and like to keep myself to myself,” he confesses. “I am not really chatty either.”

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE GETS ‘SOCIAL’ IN THE BIG APPLE

Justin Timberlake attended a screening of The Social Network at the School of Visual Arts Theater in New York City today (September 29).

Joined by co-star Jessie Eisenberg and director Aaron Sorkin, the pop star-turned-actor looked dapper in his doubled breasted jacket and nerd-inspired glasses as he presented his much-buzzed about flick to a New York audience.

Meanwhile, Justin and Aaron are offering their thoughts on Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg’s recent $100 million donation to the Newark, N.J., school district. While there was much online skepticism considering it was done so a week ahead of the release of The Social Network (a not-so-flattering movie about him), both Justin and Aaron say that’s nonsense.

“I think it’s very unhealthy cynicism,” Aaron tells Entertainment Weekly. “I think that when someone does that, the only reasonable response is ‘Thank you, sir. Thank you very much.’”

“It was completely predictable by the press to call that trite,” seconds Justin Timberlake, one of the stars of the film. “That’s a lot of money to a great cause and I commend him on it.”

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE AVOIDS INJURY AT ‘THE SOCIAL NETWORK’ WORLD PREMIERE

Posted in Justin Timberlake on September 24, 2010 by fadedblog

Justin Timberlake got all dressed up in a three-piece suit as he attended the premiere of The Social Network at Alice Tully Hall during the 48th New York Film Festival today (September 24).

The pop star-turned-actor was joined by his entire cast on the red carpet, but no sight of longtime girlfriend Jessica Biel.

While working the press line, JT narrowly dodged a disaster when a TV cameraman dropped a microphone boom dangerously close to his head.

Justin was talking to reporters about his role as Napster founder Sean Parker in the film, which chronicles the early days of Facebook when a soundman lost his grip on the prop, prompting Mr. Timberlake to duck out of the way to avoid a potential injury.

But ever the professional, the SexyBack hitmaker refused to let the close call disrupt his interviews and he continued on to promote the picture, which also stars Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield.

The special screening was the world premiere of The Social Network and served as the official opening of the 2010 New York Film Festival.
