It was a table for three as Katherine Heigl lunched with hubby Josh Kelley and their adorable toddler daughter Naleigh in Los Feliz, CA on Tuesday (August 23).

While the parents at the table could be seen engaging in some serious conversation, two-year-old Naleigh was on her best behaviour as she calmly sat next to her mommy and displayed her perfect table manners.

Following their lunch date at Little Dom’s, the trio kept the good times going as they enjoyed a stroll in their neighbourhood.

Meanwhile, Katherine is currently shooting scenes for her new film, The Wedding.

Written and directed by Justin Zackham, the upcoming comedy tells the tale of a long-divorced couple who fakes being married as their family unites for a wedding.

Kyle Bornheimer is the latest star to join the cast, which will also star Robert De Niro, Diane Keaton, Topher Grace, Amanda Seyfried, Robin Williams and Susan Sarandon.

Kyle will play Katherine’s estranged husband.

It was a busy afternoon of running errands for actress Katherine Heigl.

After stopping off at a medical building in West Hollywood today (November 16), the blonde beauty headed over to Between the Sheets for some shopping with her mother Nancy Heigl.

Meanwhile, Katherine has reportedly dropped out of starring in the fantasy romance Adaline.

The 31-year-old starlet would have played a woman killed in a car accident, only to be revived by a bolt of lighting and frozen in her late 20s. She later meets a man who is prepared to risk his life so that she can regain her mortality.

Angela Lansbury had recently joined the project to play Katherine’s daughter.

Katherine’s agent Norm Aladjem denied rumours that his client had been dismissed from the project after disagreements with backers Lakeshore Entertainment.

Producer Gary Lucchesi added that the movie is still scheduled to go ahead next year with The Bounty Hunter director Andy Tennant at the helm.

“We were scheduled to shoot mid-March and we hope to achieve that. We are great fans of [Katherine] and if this is what she has to do, we respect that.”

Katherine Heigl was among the first to arrive at the 44th Annual CMA Awards at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee this evening (November 10).

Dressed in a stunning royal blue strapless gown by Farah Angsana, the 31-year-old actress was joined by her crooner hubby Josh Kelley as she worked the press line ahead of the star-studded show.

Meanwhile, in the new issue of W magazine, Katherine opens up about her feelings on adoption, and her adjustment to motherhood before starting the shoot for the film Life as We Know It where she plays a similar role to her life in reality.

“You have this empathy suddenly this compassion for a mother going through anything complicated or difficult with a child,” she says. “It’s something that I understand now that unbelievable drive and instinct to protect.”

Katherine mentioned her Korean sister, saying that she hopes that one day her Korean sister and her daughter Naleigh would “be able to talk about what it’s like to be adopted.”

Katherine Heigl enjoyed lunch in Santa Monica, CA on Tuesday (November 2) with her parents Nancy and Paul Heigl.

The trio arrived at the Wilshire together but Katherine wasn’t very interested in being photographed and her mom let them know it!

Meanwhile, Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes says she almost killed off Katherine’s character Dr Izzie Stevens when the actress decided to leave the series. It was her good conscience that wouldn’t let her go through with filming.

“We discussed a lot of options, and the one we settled on felt like the [best idea] without having Izzie actually there,” she tells Entertainment Weekly. “But it also felt like the cruellest possible thing.”

Luckily though, the Grey’s Anatomy boss has not discounted a future Izzie sighting altogether – if Katherine is willing, that is. “We would be thrilled to (wrap up her story). But if she doesn’t (want to return), we’ll just move on.”

While hubby Josh Kelley was busy taking care of baby, Katherine Heigl stepped out in Beverly Hills today (October 26) to run some errands.

Before tending to her to-do list, the 31-year-old made sure to mind the parking meter since she spent nearly two hours shopping for new shoes.

Meanwhile, despite the mundane day out, Katherine says her life is exciting.

The former Grey’s Anatomy star — who raises daughter Naleigh with her musician hubby — admits her day-to-day life is a rollercoaster ride.

“I really do have an exciting life and I seem to launch from one thing to another,” she says. “I don’t know if it is something I do to keep life exciting or if it is just the natural course of my life. I’m not sure. I think my husband would say I do it on purpose.”

Katherine Heigl was brave enough to endure the rain and inclement weather to have lunch with her mom at Louise’s Trattoria in Los Feliz, CA today (October 20).

The former Grey’s Anatomy actress kept warm and dry in a knit poncho and rubber boots as she spent the afternoon feasting on Italian food.

Meanwhile, in a new interview with the Daily Telegraph, Katherine gets candid about being a first-time mom.

Naleigh was nine months when I became her mother, but I didn’t know what (kind of) nine-month-old – what stage they were at – and lots of children are different,” she says. “When Naleigh came to us, it was just a whole new world for me, so I was reading absolutely every single book that I could get my hands on. I didn’t even know what she would be eating. Would she be eating solid foods? Would I be giving her formula?”

Katherine is also frank about the difficulty of adopting a child. She would like to become an adoption advocate and help fund adoptions for other families.

“It’s lengthy, it’s expensive and I think there are a lot of families who, if they could afford it financially, would adopt or would consider adoption.” she says.

Asked how difficult it is to juggle a Hollywood film schedule with new motherhood, Katherine answers: “It’s probably no harder than any working mother’s situation, I would imagine, because I think women – at least most of the women that I’ve talked to – have this genetic disposition to feel guilty about leaving our children to go to work. I watch my husband do it – not with ease. But he’s very practical about it and when he’s with her he’s with her fully and completely devoted and gives her all of his attention, but when he has to go to work he doesn’t have that mother’s guilt. So that’s what I’m trying to balance right now. She gets all of my attention when I’m not working and that’s the best I can do.”

As for whether she would like to have more children? “I can’t wait to have another baby,” she enthuses. “I’m like, ‘C’mon, let’s do this!'”

Katherine Heigl and husband Josh Kelley looked in high spirits yesterday (October 12 as they stopped in at their local vet to pick up their dog.

Greeting the paparazzi with a smile, the lovebirds happily headed inside to retrieve their pup who hopefully was just in for a check up.

Meanwhile, a neighbour was reportedly left fuming after Katherine and Josh shared a hot tub session last night.

Cops showed up at the couple’s Hollywood home after a complaint about noise, only for the Knocked Up actress to answer the door in her bikini.

According to reports, Katherine’s security guard called the police after the local starting hurling obscenities at the couple as they enjoyed an intimate dip.

No arrests were made and the incident was smoothed over, although the overheated neighbour was not invited to join the lovebirds in the tub.
