Naomi Campbell celebrated her 25 year career with Dolce & Gabbana during Milano Fashion Week Womenswear Spring/Summer 2011 in Milan, Italy today (September 26).

Joined by the likes of Alessandra Ambrosio, Jada Pinkett Smith (and daughter Willow) and her billionaire boyfriend Vladislav Voronin, the 40-year-old supermodel broke down into tears at one point as designing duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana honored her with praise and fanfare.

“Besides being one of our favourite models,” said the pair, “Naomi is also a great friend and a special woman.”

For her part, Naomi was more focused on raising funds for the victims of the flooding catastrophe in Pakistan. Up for grabs were signed T-shirts with 14 limited-edition images from fashion photographers including Patrick Demarchelier, Steven Klein and David LaChapelle.

The supermodel plans to sell the T-shirts at Dolce & Gabbana stores, with proceeds going to flood victims via her Fashion For Relief charity.

Sarah Jessica Parker was among the famous fashionistas paying respects to designer Alexander McQueen at a private memorial service at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London today (September 20).

Joined by Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss and Anna Wintour, the Sex and the City actress got all dressed up to mourn the British designer’s lifelong work and untimely passing.

Vogue editor-in-chief Wintour said in an address at the service that McQueen transported his fans “into a world of sensation where you could be shocked, repulsed or thrilled.”

McQueen was “special” because he designed the “most exquisite couture dresses and at the same time had a real impact on how the world dressed”, Wintour told hundreds of McQueen’ relatives, friends and colleagues.

Quirky Icelandic pop star Bjork, dressed as a cream-coloured bird with a feather skirt and wings, sang a version of Billie Holiday’s Gloomy Sunday at the service.

As you may recall, 40-year-old McQueen’s body was found in a wardrobe in his central London flat in February, the day before his mother’s funeral. An inquest heard he took cocaine, sleeping pills and tranquillisers before hanging himself.

McQueen, who felt under pressure from work, had a history of self-harming and a depressive disorder and had taken two previous overdoses before his death.

The memorial service came in the middle of London Fashion Week, which runs until Wednesday.

Seemingly always on vacation, Naomi Campbell showed up Ibiza, Spain on Friday (August 27) for her umpteenth holiday of the summer.

The moody supermodel looked to be making the most of her vacation as she shopped in an array of exclusive stores with her friends before sitting down for a small lunch.

Meanwhile, Naomi reportedly shocked onlookers at an Italian restaurant by refusing to eat her food until she was served with a special Jamaican sauce.

The 41-year-old stunner was dining at the eatery with boyfriend Vladimir Doronin and actor Leonardo DiCaprio, when she refused to eat until she was passed her condiments.

“She couldn’t indulge in food until her boyfriend’s bodyguard brought over her own salt and pepper shakers,” a source tells the New York Post.

However, Miss Campbell’s spokesperson clarified, “It wasn’t salt and pepper, it’s her Jamaican hot sauce.”
