Olivia Wilde may be a great actress but a cook she is not.

After lunching with her ex Tao Ruspoli in Venice, CA yesterday, the 27-year-old actress was out once again today (August 24) — this time in Los Feliz, CA — as she enjoyed a lunch date with a friend in the neighbourhood.

Olivia looked casual and cool in a blue YSL emblazoned t-shirt and skinny jeans as she enjoyed an afternoon of Mexican food with her camera-shy pal.

Next up for Miss Wilde? A screening of her new documentary. She tweets: “Hi honeybadgers, if you’re in LA check out our doc, Sun City Picture House, at the Sunset 5 tomorrow at 4:40 pm!”

Sun City Picture House is the story of Rapheal Louigene a young Haitian man who loves movies. After watching the last of the old colonial movie theaters destroyed in the earthquake he enlists the help of a priest and two young aid workers to build Haiti’s only movie theater on a hill above a tent city. The community rallies behind and all pitch in to work, sometimes through the night for four days and through a tropical storm to open on time.

Olivia Wilde was spotted out and about in Venice, CA on Tuesday (August 23).

Joined by her ex-husband, Italian American filmmaker and musician Tao Ruspoli, the 27-year-old actress enjoyed a late lunch date with some friends before enjoying a leisurely stroll.

Olivia, who starred alongside Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig in Cowboy & Aliens, has had a busy year with four films under her belt – and another three lined-up for next year.

She is now working with the biggest names in the business, joining forces with Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried for In Time and Jennifer Garner in the comedy Butter.

She may be one of Hollywood’s most sought out actresses but Olivia Wilde still loves a bargain.

Joined by some friends, the big screen beauty was spotted enjoying some savings as she did some shopping at the Hollywood Flea Market on Sunday (August 21).

Olivia is currently taking some time off after traveling the world promoting her new sci-fi Western flick Cowboys & Aliens.

Later this year, the versatile Miss Wilde has a cameo in Andrew Niccol‘s futuristic thriller In Time.

The film takes place in a world where individuals stop ageing at 25 and Wilde portrays Justin Timberlake‘s mother, even though in real life, she is four years younger than he is.

And after appearing opposite Russell Crowe in last year’s thriller The Next Three Days, she is also poised to link up with fellow Aussie A-listers Hugh Jackman, in the political satire Butter, and will play Eric Bana‘s younger sister in Blackbird, a story about two sibling fugitives who collide with a troubled ex-con during a holiday homecoming.

After traveling the world promoting Cowboys & Aliens, Olivia Wilde is clearly happy to be home.

Joined by a friend, the 27-year-old actress was in high spirits as she dropped by The Production Group in Hollywood on Wednesday (August 17) for a business meeting.

Meanwhile, Olivia apparently used Justin Timberlake‘s mother for inspiration in preparing for her role in new sci-fi thriller In Time.

The big screen beauty plays the mother of Justin’s character in the film, despite being three years younger than the singer in real life.

And Justin made sure he told Olivia a bout his experiences with his own mother in a bid to help her out.

He says, “We laughed about it when we first saw each other. First of all, Olivia is three years younger than me! We’d read the script and I would say, ‘Here’s something my mom might do,’ or ‘Here’s the way my mom might say it.’ I think she really looked to me to give her those little things because she had the trickier job in our scenes.”

It was all eyes on Olivia Wilde as she attended the UK premiere of Cowboys & Aliens at Cineworld 02 Arena in London today (August 11).

Joined by co-stars Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford, the 27-year-old actress showed off some serious side boob in an otherwise matronly dress as she worked the red carpet ahead of the debut of her new sci-fi western flick.

Meanwhile, Olivia says she had a great time shooting the romantic scene in Cowboys & Aliens.

“We don’t have a bunch of sex scenes or anything but we did have this lovely kiss which was not a terrible day of shooting,” she says. “He [Daniel Craig] was a wonderful kisser. Lovely. He’s got great lips and he’s certainly not hard to fall in love with.”

Olivia says that Bond actor Craig was great to work with.

She raves: “Daniel is so kind, humble and gracious and such a great actor. I just tried to watch him very closely when we were acting because I wanted to learn from him. I’d always admired him. He’s so good at communicating so much by doing so little. His eyes are very expressive. He has so much power and so much presence so I really loved working with him because I felt inspired by him. He doesn’t have any delusions of grandeur. He’s very humble and sweet and very happy to be acting.”

Cowboys & Aliens, which is directed by Jon Favreau and also stars Harrison Ford, is released on August 11.

Emma Stone was beautiful in blush as she attended Los Angeles premiere of The Help at the AMPAS Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills on Tuesday (August 9).

Joined by her pregnant co-star Bryce Dallas Howard, the big screen beauty looked more glamorous than ever as she debuted her new much-buzzed about flick.

Meanwhile, Revlon has tapped Emma and Olivia Wilde, making them the latest actresses to land a major beauty campaign.

As Global Brand Ambassadors for the makeup behemoth, Emma and Olivia’s first ad campaigns will be tied to the launch of new colour cosmetics and nail enamel products set to premiere in early 2012.

Between the two actresses, they have six major feature films in 2011, including Emma’s star turn in The Help, which is out today.
