Sandra Bullock donned a thick jacket and snug boots as she headed out to run errands on a cold New York morning today (November 3).

The big screen beauty is in town with her adopted son Louis, who stayed at home with friends, family members and hired help.

Meanwhile, reports claim that Warner Bros are planning to launch a television reboot of the supernatural film Practical Magic.

The film was released in 1998, and starred Sandra and fellow Oscar winner Nicole Kidman as two witch sisters who teach their children about magic.

The Hollywood Reporter suggests that the studio will develop the series for ABC Magic.

The film has already been developed into a television series once before in 2003, in a pilot for CBS starring Kim Delaney and Jeri Ryan which was not picked up.

It is reported that the network and studio are currently in the beginning stages of developing ideas for the TV spinoff.

Nothing is coming between Sandra Bullock wants and her precious little bundle of joy Louis.

The Oscar-winning actress wrapped up the ten-month-old in a thick orange down jacket as she took him on his first trip to New York City on Tuesday (November 2).

Teamed with a warm pair of jeans, Louis was snugly wrapped in his smiling mother’s arms as she nipped into their hotel.

Meanwhile, Sandra is reportedly ready to find love again following her divorce from husband Jesse James earlier in the year.

“She’s ready to move on,” a source is quoted as saying. “Her son Louis is [ten] months old now. She’s adjusted to motherhood and to being single again. She wants to fall in love. But after Jesse, no bad boys need apply.”

Sandra is also reportedly keen to adopt another child, and has been in talks with an agency regarding the possibility of giving a home to another child.

The insider added: “She’s also talking to the adoption agency that hooked her up with baby Louis about another child.”

Sandra Bullock took time away from her pride and joy baby Louis to take care of some personal business while in Austin, TX yesterday (October 25) but she first got her caffeine fix at the local Starbucks.

The Oscar-winning actress likes to keep up with the current events taking place so she grabbed a newspaper to go along with her drink.

Sandra and a few assistants later stopped by a private storage unit to collect a few items and survey what was in the rather large privately secluded storage unit.

What few items did she decided to bring back into her life?

Meanwhile, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Sandra may team up with Meryl Streep and Oprah Winfrey in a new Michael Patrick King comedy.

No word yet from any of the actresses to confirm the report, which says the as yet unnamed Universal Pictures blockbuster will be written and directed by the Sex and the City creator.

The movie will be “set in and around the world of a Home Shopping-type network and follows the characters as they make their way through the maze of mania that surrounds marketing, marriages and the media.”

King, expects to have the script ready by the new year, with production hoped to start in summer.

“I put it in front of each of them and they all said yes,” says King. “To have access to these women, tell them this story and hear ‘Yes’ was almost like a Greek mythological journey, with me going from one goddess to the next.”

After recently returning to Austin, TX, actress Sandra Bullock showed off her relaxed summery look in cut-off shorts as she carries sweet little Louis Bardo Bullock out of a pet store where her dogs where being cared for on Monday afternoon (October 18).

The Oscar-winning actress could be seen hopping over a dog cage on her way out, carrying a grumpy-looking Louis in her arms as two employees brought the star’s pets, including three-legged rescue dog Ruby, to the waiting car.

Though scandal still swirls around Jesse James and his other ex-wives, Sandra looks at ease carrying out her daily errands, happily doting on little Louis and loving her simple small city lifestyle!

Sandra Bullock opened up to Matt Lauer at Warren Easton Charter High School over the weekend, where she opened a health clinic.

In the interview that will air tomorrow on Today and NBC, the Oscar-winning actress happily chats about the new man in her life.

“He’s a little Cajun cookie,” Sandra says of her adopted son Louie from New Orleans.

Matt asked about the long process of finalizing that adoption and Sandra said, “It felt– it felt like it was time, you know. And the process– the way that the process is, for a very, very good reason, and I did not circumvent. I wanted to do everything exactly the same way everyone else did. And– it was– he was always mine, you know. It wasn’t like I felt like someone was going to take him away. But it was nice to have someone say, I think you’re a fit parent.”

Sandra adds that she didn’t request any particular child – male, female, etc. She just had faith that the right baby would come along for her. “I think, everything works out the way the universe wants it to work out. And– and we– we had always said that it didn’t matter where the child came from. If they had issues that were medical issues, we didn’t care. It’s like the child that needed us in the home is the child that’s going to be placed.”

And, she adds: “I didn’t think it would be a boy. We don’t have any boys in our family. Boy, is everyone really happy about that. So, he’s like the crown prince. You know, it’s nothing but girls in our family. I mean, my cousin in Germany has one son– no boys. Can you imagine how miserable our father is? I mean, every pet was female. But it was just the hierarchy that needed to be broken.”
