Taylor Swift was among the attendees at the 58th Annual BMI Country Music Awards in Nashville, Tennessee today (November 9).
Looking ravishing in a glittery black halter dress, the country music sensation could be seen rubbing elbows with the likes of Miranda Lambert and Lady Antebellum frontwoman Hillary Scott ahead of the star-studded show.
Hosted by BMI President & CEO Del Bryant, along with Nashville Writer/Publisher Vice President Jody Williams and Assistant Vice President Clay Bradley, the BMI Country Awards salute the songwriters and publishers of the top BMI country songs played on American radio and television during the previous year. The organization will also bestow prestigious honors on the genre’s Songwriter of the Year, Publisher of the Year and most-performed Song of the Year, also known as the Robert J. Burton Award.
The evening will culminate with the presentation of the BMI Icon award to country legend and father of the contemporary country sound Billy Sherrill who has rendered “a unique and indelible influence on generations of music makers.”
Meanwhile, in not so good news, Porn king Steve Hirsch plans to spoof Taylor and rapper Kanye West‘s one-time feud in a new X-rated movie.
Vivid Entertainment plans to have the pair kiss and make up in the bedroom as they parody their relationship in a naughty new DVD.
Production on the racy film will begin in “the next two months.”
Says Hirsch, “We’re always analysing news stories for their movie potential. The Kanye/Taylor feud has high visibility, is filled with passion and is something we believe that fans of adult films would enjoy. We’re reviewing script concepts and definitely want to include that famous moment at the Video Music Awards.”
