Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz were spotted arriving for the Japanese premiere of Knight and Day at Roppongi Hills in Tokyo today (September 28).

Greeted by hundreds of screaming fans, the big screen duo worked the press line for nearly an hour before heading inside to debut their new action comedy flick.

Knight and Day opens in Japan on October 6.

Meanwhile, the fourth movie in the Mission: Impossible series starring Tom will be filmed in Dubai, the emirate’s government media office said in a statement today.

“The latest installment of the globally renowned action thriller Mission: Impossible, starring Tom Cruise, will be filmed in Dubai within the coming few weeks,” the statement said. “Filming in Dubai would be the longest among other international cities that will feature in MI4,” and will last at least three weeks, the statement said, without identifying the other locations where the movie will be filmed.

The Dubai government expressed hope that the filming would boost “Dubai’s position as a favoured destination for international movie production, while reinforcing its strategy towards establishing itself as a regional movie hub.”

A solo Tom Cruise was spotted arriving at Tokyo International Airport in Japan on Tuesday (September 28).

Seemingly traveling with just a jacket, the 48-year-old actor was all smiles as he spent what seemed like an eternity greeting fans and posing for photos in the terminal.

Tom has been busy in recent weeks traveling the world scouting sites for his upcoming Mission: Impossible IV movie. Taking a break from his search, Tom is in Tokyo for the Japanese premiere of Knight and Day.

Meanwhile, Simon Pegg has been confirmed for the highly-anticipated action flick.

The British actor, who previously admitted uncertainty over his participation, has closed a deal to reprise his role as lab geek Benji Dunn in the fourth instalment of the franchise.

He will be joined by The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo star Michael Nyqvist, who is in final talks to play the main villain.

Tom is also said to be using his star power to find a big name to play the head of IMF, a part previously played by Jon Voight, Anthony Hopkins and Laurence Fishburne.

The fourth Mission: Impossible movie is scheduled for release on December 2011.

Tom Cruise and wife Katie Holmes were spotted heading out for a lovely Italian meal in Prague, Czech Republic on Tuesday night (September 21) with their four-year-old daughter Suri and her buggy.

Tom has brought his family along for the location scout that he has taken upon himself to find the best locations for the fourth Mission Impossible film for which Tom is not only the lead actor but also apart of the writing and production team on the film.

Little Suri decided she was tired of pushing her cart around and had Dad give her a lift while mom took on the toys.

Tom has been in Prague all week looking for locations for his new film Mission Impossible 4.

The Hollywood A-lister was joined by director Brad Bird and the two were spotted spending a lot of time at a castle where they repeatedly climbed a flight of stairs in the foyer.

Prague Old Town is where the 48-year-old actor shot the first Mission Impossible movie in 1995, which was directed by Brian de Palma.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Simon Pegg are rumoured to star opposite Tom in the fourth installment, due for release in December 2011.

Other filming locations that have already been confirmed include British Colombia and Dubai.
