Jennifer Garner was spotted holding her daughter Violet‘s hand as she took her to a ballet class in Los Angeles today (October 12).
Dressed in a pink leotard and tutu, the always adorable Violet looked as if she could not wait for her class as she danced along her mother’s side.
Meanwhile, Jennifer loved sculpting for a new movie role, but found few people thought she was very good at it.
The 38-year-old actress enjoyed sculpting pieces out of the churned dairy product for her new movie Butter – but found she wasn’t very good at it, with many of her cast doubting her abilities.
“Turns out, butter carving is so satisfying and is the most, most fun!” she says. “I was carving a sculpture in a relief of a man walking on a rainy day, and I thought, ‘This is a man, walking on a rainy day!’ and the rest of the cast was like, ‘Uh, yeah that’s a blob of butter.'”
Butter – which also stars Alicia Silverstone, Ashley Greene, Ty Burrell and Hugh Jackman – tells the tale of a butter carving championship in the mid-west, and she admits she had a great time filming the political satire, directed by Jim Field Smith.
Says Jennifer: “I play the wife of Ty Burrell, who has been the Iowa state champion in butter-carving at the state festival for the past 15 years, and we had a blast together. It’s an incredible cast and my production company was a part of producing it, which was a thrill for me. And I think that it is a story that is going to be a lot of fun to have out in the world. I don’t play the nicest person but it sure was delicious trying her on.”
