JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE AVOIDS INJURY AT ‘THE SOCIAL NETWORK’ WORLD PREMIERE

Justin Timberlake got all dressed up in a three-piece suit as he attended the premiere of The Social Network at Alice Tully Hall during the 48th New York Film Festival today (September 24).

The pop star-turned-actor was joined by his entire cast on the red carpet, but no sight of longtime girlfriend Jessica Biel.

While working the press line, JT narrowly dodged a disaster when a TV cameraman dropped a microphone boom dangerously close to his head.

Justin was talking to reporters about his role as Napster founder Sean Parker in the film, which chronicles the early days of Facebook when a soundman lost his grip on the prop, prompting Mr. Timberlake to duck out of the way to avoid a potential injury.

But ever the professional, the SexyBack hitmaker refused to let the close call disrupt his interviews and he continued on to promote the picture, which also stars Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield.

The special screening was the world premiere of The Social Network and served as the official opening of the 2010 New York Film Festival.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE GETS IN THE FRAME

Holding on tightly to his Lowepro camera bag and his iPad, Justin Timberlake was spotted on the set of his new film Friends with Benefits in Los Angeles today (September 1).

The bespectacled actor-singer could be seen getting into his trailer, wearing a pair of William Rast jeans from his own clothing line.

Friends With Benefits also stars Mila Kunis, Woody Harrelson and Zombieland star Emma Stone, and follows the lives of two friends as they become romantically involved.

Justin has steadily been building up his acting resume since making his big screen debut in Alpha Dog in 2007.

Next up for triple threat? A starring role in Andrew Niccol‘s I’m.mortal. Co-starring Cillian Murphy and Amanda Seyfried, the upcoming sci-fi flick is about the fallout after the aging gene has been switched off. To avoid overpopulation, time has become the currency and the way people pay for luxuries and necessities.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE CONSIDERED FOR QUENTIN TARANTINO MOVIE

Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake continued to film scenes for their latest movie Friends With Benefits in Los Angeles today (August 31).

Both actors have fall films hitting the box office soon — The Social Network for Mr. Timberlake and Black Swan with Mila.

Meanwhile, director Quentin Tarantino apparently wants JT to star in one of his movies.

Sources say the Pulp Fiction filmmaker is considering the SexyBack singer for a new violent epic based around a trainee hitman.

“It’s a kind of dark comedy, very much in the Tarrantino style,” says a Hollywood insider. “Justin is a new raw talent when it comes to acting but Quentin feels he could be ideal for the lead role. He’s excited about taking a teen heartthrob and turning him into a cold-blooded killer.”

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE: TREE HOUSE HOTTIE

Justin Timberlake was busy filming scenes for his upcoming movie, Friends With Benefits, in Hollywood, CA on Thursday (August 26).

The pop star-turned-actor was joined by his gorgeous co-star Mila Kunis as he spent the afternoon shooting an outdoor scene in a shiny new red convertible.

Meanwhile, Justin has reportedly built a giant tree house on the grounds of his Los Angeles mansion to provide himself with a private space to hang out with his friends.

“Justin’s still a kid at heart. He had the tree house built so he and his buddies could escape to drink and play cards,” a source is quoted as saying.

The 29-year-old pop heartthrob has even banned his girlfriend Jessica Biel from entering his new pad.

“He even posted a sign saying ‘No Girls Allowed’,” the insider adds.

Since JT bought his $10 property at Mulholland Drive back in 2002, he has installed a basketball court and, more recently, a five-hole putting green so he can master his golf skills.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE BATTLES INSECURITY ISSUES

Justin Timberlake was a man at work as he continued to film scenes today (August 3) for the upcoming romantic comedy Friends with Benefits, currently filming on location in New York City.

Causing heads to turn wherever he goes, the pop star-tuned-actor could be seen could be seen dodging a cab as he shot a solo outdoor scene.

Meanwhile, Justin says he feels insecure about his singing and acting ability.

Despite his success, the 29-year-old star admits that he still waits for approval before feeling satisfied that he has done a good job.

He tells The Razz: “I think I’m equally insecure about both of them. I’ve been doing this for two-thirds of my life and I still consider myself pretty young but I think that’s the part you battle with all the time. When you’re creating your art, that’s the best part. Your senses are on a creative high and then the part where everyone gets to see it and comment on it, that’s the part I think you battle with until you die. It’s absolutely terrifying.”

JT was given the opportunity to star in TV show The New Mickey Mouse Club when he was 12 years old.

He continues: “It’s no secret I was trained as a very young kid on a TV show with a lot of other extremely talented actors and singers — Christina Aguilera, Ryan Gosling. I think we were all trained in the arts, be it song, dance or acting.”
