JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE GETS ‘SOCIAL’ IN THE BIG APPLE

Justin Timberlake attended a screening of The Social Network at the School of Visual Arts Theater in New York City today (September 29).

Joined by co-star Jessie Eisenberg and director Aaron Sorkin, the pop star-turned-actor looked dapper in his doubled breasted jacket and nerd-inspired glasses as he presented his much-buzzed about flick to a New York audience.

Meanwhile, Justin and Aaron are offering their thoughts on Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg’s recent $100 million donation to the Newark, N.J., school district. While there was much online skepticism considering it was done so a week ahead of the release of The Social Network (a not-so-flattering movie about him), both Justin and Aaron say that’s nonsense.

“I think it’s very unhealthy cynicism,” Aaron tells Entertainment Weekly. “I think that when someone does that, the only reasonable response is ‘Thank you, sir. Thank you very much.’”

“It was completely predictable by the press to call that trite,” seconds Justin Timberlake, one of the stars of the film. “That’s a lot of money to a great cause and I commend him on it.”
