CHRISTINA AGUILERA AND HER LACMA LADIES

A tanned and glammed Christina Aguilera was among a slew of celebrity attendees at the opening of LACMA’s Lynda and Stewart Resnick Exhibition Pavilion in Los Angeles on Saturday (September 25).

Joined by the likes of Molly Sims, Nicky Hilton, Olivia Wilde, Teri Hatcher, Nicole Richie and tabloid star Kim Kardashian, the Not Myself Tonight singer was on hand to check out the masquerade ball honoring the second gallery building on the LACMA campus designed by the Italian architect Renzo Piano.

Xtina is making more and more public appearances these days ahead of the November release of her acting debut in Burlesque.

The singer-turned-actress’ co-star Kristen Bell has reportedly told fans that the highly-aniticipated musical does not contain any nudity. Instead it focusses on the traditional art of striptease rather than stripping.

“There’s lot of sexiness and I show a lot of skin, but there is no nudity,” she says. “The funny thing about this burlesque in the movie is they sort of reinvented it in a way that Europe already knows it. Americans kind of associate burlesque with stripping, which is not what it is at all. Burlesque is actually sort of a funny, wonderful, playful tease.”

The 30-year-old adds: “The movie will be PG-13 and there will be sensual things about it but it won’t be just t*ts and ass.”

  1. Xtina looks like a freaky cartoon. Too bad. A performer with such talent need not degrade herself with such a trashy persona.
